The Colombia Pasto Sede is a fully washed coffee grown by various small holder producers in the Nariño region of Colombia at 1,900 meters above sea level.
A blend of three varietels make up this coffee – Castillo, Colombia and Caturra – which are grown in the rich soils and steep sides of the Galeras Volcano. Once the coffee is picked, the cherries are left to ferment for 15 to 24 hours . The coffee is then washed and set to dry for 8 days.
This roast has notes of black currants and blueberries with a spicy aftertaste. Whether you brew it through a filter or as espresso, you’re bound to discover the subtly sweet and clean finish of this roast.
