Our popular ‘Pavarotti’ blend is a blend of three single origins from Costa Rica, Colombia and Ethiopia.
It is medium strength coffee blend with a strong finish enjoyed by many and now known after the great man who ordered supply of this blend to his hotel room during his visits to Melbourne.

Working in Lonsdale and Collins last century, I was walking down Little Collins at lunch time when arrested by magnificent coffee smells from Quists. Staff asked me what kind of coffee I liked. My answers led them to propose “40% Columbia, 40% Costa Rica, 20% Mocha”. I replied I would struggle to remember that and asked if it had an in-house nickname. “Yes! Actually, we call it “Pavarotti” because when Luciano is in town, that’s what he drinks” A quarter century on, it is still my favourite coffee. Glen Davis
